Our Story

Kula was founded in the Summer of 2019. Based in the U.K, we are committed to using sustainably sourced materials to develop eco-friendly accessories. We do not use leather or any other animal-based materials in any of our bags or backpacks. 

Our vegan friendly collection of backpacks use a reinforced paper material that is recognised by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) as being sourced sustainably from responsibly managed forests. We understand the importance of our social responsibility and continue to explore new eco-friendly materials as we move forward in our journey to improving our products and decreasing our environmental footprint.

Personal style should not come at the expense of personal values. Kula Bags are proud to be registered with PETA.
